Obtaining a Driving Licence C+E
The most complete HGV license is C+E. It permits you to drive an HGV with a semi-trailer or trailer weighing more than 750 kilograms.
The training for category CE is an natural progression from the training that leads to Category C. It includes driving on roads that have different traffic density and on training tracks.
Requirements
A copyright is an official document that proves that the driver has met all legal requirements to drive. The requirements vary from one country to the next, but they all include passing the driving test and not having any traffic violations in the past. The tests are generally divided into practice and theory, although there are some exceptions to this rule. The first step to get a copyright is completing the driving course and passing the theory test. The driver must also be physically fit to drive, and certain countries require evidence of this, such as a medical exam.
The next step is to obtain the Category C licence, or the copyright for cars. This permits you to drive trailers, passenger vehicles and trucks that weigh up to 7.5 tons. If you already hold a Cat C license, you can upgrade to the Cat C + E, which allows you drive articulated heavy-goods vehicles that weigh up to 44 tons.
You must be at minimum 21 years old to obtain a Category C license. This is the minimum age requirement, but you might be able obtain one sooner if you have completed the required training for your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) or are currently going through it. You must also have an active copyright in your car in order to qualify for a category C+E licence.
The C+E driving licence is the highest category of hgv available. It combines the categories C and E and is the most comprehensive hgv license you can get. You must possess a Category C licence to qualify for the C+E license, and you must be qualified to pass an examination for medical and a practical driving test.
In addition to passing the practical and theory driving tests You must also pass an examination for medical conditions and eye examination. Training
You can learn to drive trucks on the job. Many companies provide complete driver training programs. These companies provide instruction on how to drive rigid and articulated heavy-duty vehicles up to 32 tons. The training consists of an instruction in the classroom and driving tests on the road. The driving test usually lasts around 1.5 hours and consists of following an established route. The examiner will notify you of any instructions or diversions.
After completing the course the person will be issued the learner's permit (LL) which is valid for a period of six months. The LL allows drivers to drive on public roads when an authorized driver is present with them. Driving without a qualified instructor is considered an offence.
The student will receive an award upon completion of the course at an approved driving academy. This certificate must be presented to a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) when applying for a driving licence. The VIO will conduct a driving test to determine if the applicant is able to drive a lorry of category C+E.
The VIO will issue the permanent license once the driving test has been completed successfully. The license will include details about the driver, like his name and father's name and date of birth, address, vehicle types, emergency contact information as well as blood group information, fingerprint impression and photograph. The driver must also pass an exam to obtain a license.
The license must be renewed every three years and is usually accompanied by an official document referred to as a "vremennoe razreshenie". This document proves that the driver has passed a medical examination to ensure he's fit to drive. A driver must also attend first aid courses in order to be prepared for any possible road accident. Exams

An extensive job analysis is completed prior to the development of each exam. The job analysis involves observing incumbents, conducting surveys and interviews, as well as analyzing current documentation. A committee composed of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) is set up to review the job analyses and create the exam questions. The SME's are extensively trained in question writing techniques and are well-versed in the skills, knowledge and capabilities required to complete the task in a professional way.
The written and oral exams are designed to be as close to the real world as is possible. However, there are certain circumstances that could lead an examiner to deny you a license. This includes: when you drove in a reckless manner during the test and/or involved in a crash or if you broke any traffic laws, rules or regulations or the vehicle you were driving was unsafe. In these instances, you will have to retake the test and pay additional fees.
Medical exam
To be able to drive a truck in the EU, one must undergo an exam for medical conditions. A doctor will assess the eyesight of the driver as well as general health. Medical certificates allow drivers to obtain C+E copyright valid for five years. After that, the license will be renewed each year.

Some commenters questioned using the phrase "not certified." The final rule uses the term "not-certified" to avoid any implication a CDL driver is not qualified medically. This language makes it clear that the driver's driving privileges are not being revoked due to FMCSA's negative actions. The final rule also requires the State-designated licensing authority (SDLA) to display the medical certification status on the CDL holder's CDLIS driver record. This will help prevent false and fraudulent claims that an individual who holds a CDL is medically qualified, but in fact they are not. To further discourage fraud and fraud, the SDLA must include the contact details of the ME who performed a medical exam in the driver's file. This requirement will remain in effect until FMCSA releases an updated rule to solve this issue. Motor carriers can keep an original or a copy of the ME's certificate to prove that a driver has medical credentials, so they can prove the date on which the certificate was issued by the ME.
